The Mozambicans is heartwarming and friendly. I went to Mozambique to serve the woman and children by teaching them skills, but I found, that their sincerity and generosity served me abundantly.
Mozambique children are curious and hungry to learn!!
Teaching the children to make a doll using cotton wool only. I cant speak Portuguese, so I taught the children by demonstrating step by step what to do.

Empowering Mozambique ladies, by teaching them to crochet.
150 Ladies were given a crochet needle and cotton wool and then I taught them how to crochet.
I also taught this 4 year old girl to make a doll out of cotton wool. She was extremely happy to have a doll to play with. Her happiness for a small little cotton doll, reminds us, how much we have to be thankful for.
Empowering Mozambique ladies, by teaching them to crochet. Teaching them crochet, is a small beginning, but I am excited to see how these ladies will develop the skill and then crochet blankets and warm cloths for themselves, or crochet clothes to sell, to earn a living.
I didn’t just want to give the ladies gifts, I wanted to add to their lives by teaching them a skill. I gave each lady a Crochet needle and cotton wool, and taught each lady to crochet. Once off gifts don’t change their situation, but skills empower them to change their situation.
